DONATE TO NATIONAL TRUST- WHY ?
The National Trust is a statutory body constituted by enactment of an Act of Parliament by the Government of India, for the Welfare of Persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto, in the year 1999. The web link of the Act is www.thenationaltrust.gov.in.
Our aim is to enable and empower persons with disability to live as independently and as fully as possible within and as close to the community to which they belong and to strengthen facilities to provide support to persons with disability to live within their own families.
By donation to the National Trust, one is helping tackle the root causes of most entrenched social problems, related to welfare dependency, medical dependency and the hardships of PwD for National Trust disabilities. The support will enable the National Trust to promote effective, practical solutions to Voluntary Organizations which in turn empower person with disability and their families to rebuild and improve the quality of their lives.
Our effort is already having a very good impact on the communities we want to help, be it through the schemes, welfare reform, improving medical support, facilitating the equal opportunities etc.
At the National Trust, every donation matters to us and we welcome the support of people who share our passion and commitment for creating an economic, political, social, cultural and legal environment that will enable the Persons with Disabilities to be a part of inclusive society. Even small regular donations add up to make a big difference.
We would like to inform that the National Trust has recently revised all the schemes and also created few new schemes after a decade making it viable, practical and inclusive. Please click here for the details of schemes.
We have prepared a payment gateway through a reputed bank (Axis Bank) for all kinds of Debit/Credit Cards and Net Banking for a very secure transaction.
